Was gonna post in other guitars but the new thread button was not there. So I'm sharing in the saloon... Pulled my old 1977 Fender Strat out tonight for the first time in a year or more. I got this in 1990 when I was 13 years old. It had already seen it's better days by then but it's a good old guitar, among some of the last made in the original Fullerton California factory. Has that damn micro tilt neck so it has two extra screws under the plate to keep the neck from moving and it still moves a little but I still love the old thing and I'm a sucker for the big headstock fenders. Not a HB....probably not made as well as a HB but a guitar I doubt I could ever get rid of.

That's a classic, keep it. I "got rid" of my first beginners acoustic guitar but gave it to my niece as she wants to learn how to play.

Awesome man. Next time you have the strings off pop the neck and post some pictures of the issue. I'm better at working on guitars than playing them so I may be able to help guide you to a fix.

I would not call a Fender 1977 a "beginner guitar" I wish I had such a "beginner guitar"
