One of the scarier parts of being stuck at home while I heal up is WAY too much time for me to peruse eBay, Thomann, Craigslist and the like. I'm in need of a bass amp as my previous one, Behringer BXR1800H, was left in Greece because it ran on 220v and everything here in NY runs on 110v. I did keep my Aria Loco 1x15 cabinet.
I loved the hell out of my 1800H. I gigged with it 2x a month for a year and a half with no issues and lots of good sound.
What I'm getting at is I know what a Behringer is and what it isn't and for the most part, I am a fan.
Well, up comes a used BX3000T for $80. The ad says that it functions perfectly. Now,.I'm still not working but for $80 I'm pretty sure I can sell something to come up with that money.
Does anyone here have any hands on experience? I've read and watched reviews, but I like talking to actual people that have used one. If it performs anything like my other Behringer I would be quite happy.
Thanks!

I emailed the seller this morning. He still has it and says that it works well, and will double check to make sure as he hasn't used it in a while. He doesn't have the foorswitch for it (it came with it when you buy it new). I wonder if I can talk him down $10 because of that. I guess it doesn't hurt to ask.
My other connundrum is, although I need an amp and this suits my needs and the price is right and I technically do have the money to buy it as well as money to cover my monthly bills next month, on the other hand I don't have an income, don't know when I will, and my car needs some work. Oh, the evil that is GAS.

There will be new second hand amps in the near future. I say keep the cash and buy once you have a job. I can buy some cheap stuff even if jobless because my wife has a good job so I get a monthly pocket money for working around our farm and within the house (yes, yes Im a house wife keep laughing)

I'd take that deal any day! Your advice is sound, but goes against all that is GAS.

Wrote to the guy. Thanked him for getting back to me so quickly. Told him I have to see how my job interview goes tomorrow and I would get back to him.

He just wrote back. It's sold. That takes care of that problem.
