Does anyone know if HB is ever bringing the 5w valve back? I've been looking at valve juniors & Peavey nano's but I'd like to try the GA.

Thanks for that, I was looking at the Fame. Might give one a try if nothing crops up in the next few weeks.

If you want the GA5 and can't get it, look for an Epiphone Valve Junior - it's the same amp. There are quite some of these amps available at the usual places.

Still looking reling. I'm not in a major hurry to change so I'll just keep any eye on the cheap sources.

Get version 3 of the valve junior if you can , It has a few upgrades over 1 & 2 and is easier to mod
Its the one with the black pcb

It's a cute little amp - went for £65. Great as a recording amp for someone with several bigger amps already. Personally I'm trying to fing something that's all singing all dancing, which of course is impossible, but can't help sidling up to Bugeras all the time. May regret it.

Great for a solid state (although I'm still juggling with the Fender Mustang III as possibility). But for a tube amp in the low wattage category I can't help liking the Bugeras. Bugera V5Bugera V22

Ive had the Valve junior which is the same circuit as the Ga5 and the Bugera V22
I would take the V22 anyday , Its a great amp, absolutely beautiful cleans I recently got a Laney Lionheart and to be honest the Bugera is pretty much up there with it, slightly darker sound but every bit as good I recon if you put a good speaker in it, it would be amazing

You mean "great for a solid state that sounds exactly like a tube amp"

I was just reading an amp modder who, for some reason, offers to swap out the speaker but even he said there was no reason to with the new speakers on the Infinium versions.
