Yes it is their housebrand (just looked it up on their website - I'm a Dutchy). I often order from Bax and they're quite good - like Thomann - with customer service. Just not sure how they are with orders from outside of Holland and how the return policy works. If you need to know anything I can look up the info and translate for you.

The one you're currently looking at is the Belgium site, I don't know if there's any difference price wise. Write bax-shop.nl see if there is. I will look up the info for you. (not like I have better things to do with the rain pouring down here)

They even have a German site! www.bax-shop.de/I'll have to email them for shipping costs, you're in Denmark right? I will also ask about return costs etc.

It looks a bit hokey, especially the scratchplate and upper horn, but it's not disagreeable. I'm interested in the switching though. It appears to have more than the expected strat switching. Are those phase switches?

Oh dear. Just read these Facebook comments. Facebook visitor posts I guess these were just the people who were unlucky. Perhaps marit can go along and sort them out for you if you run into grief. She could check out their acoustics for us too whilst she was there.

Yes, those should be for phase switching but not sure 100%. I've got a reply that thhey do ship to other EU countries but you have to send em a separate email so they can calculate the shipping cost dunno, I think I will remain with Thomann instead for now.

They've been good to me, I sent back the DM-1ST and the day after they received I got my money back no questions asked. And if they're really being bad I'll call them and shout at them. No worries.

Che, it does mention on their site you can ask them for the shipping costs. Maybe they need more info like where exactly you live.

Marit, that's because you speak Dutch like me so that's easier for them. I also have no direct problem with Bax shop itself. I have had no troubles with them up to now. Note that tHey have also a dot com domain. I have more problems with the Fazley guitars. I bought recently this model : www.bax-shop.be/nl/fazley-e150-bk-elektrische-gitaar-zwartI have to admit that the price is very low for a strat with a floyd trem, fixed nut, single and hum coils. It is. Nearly impossible to keep it in tune or intonate. Unstable floyd trem. I blocked the trem so it became a fixed bridge and since than, it's less out of tune. I kept the guitar just so I can practice on working on guitar parts. In future I will disassemble it. As the unit has two single coils and one hum, only those are already worth the price. They sound very well, better than the hb sg kit. I have to admit i don't know the quality of the other models like the Rick copy. Hopefully it's better. The Rick is one of the most expensive fazley guitars in the list. I didn't buy the Rick copy as I hesitated after the mentioned troubles.

Do you know if those stratocaster pickups are Alnico? Can you look under the pickguard and see if the pickups have a huge ceramic magnet under or just 6 pole pieces.
