Ordered the B-stock TE-90FLT VW tonight. It appeared today and immediately went "This Item Is Sold Out" after I've bought it so assuming it was a return. Lets see what comes to me next week ...

Really nice looking axe that 1, and the pick ups sound great from the demos if watched,shame about the headstock being reversed tho. Was you considering any mods Che?

Love the reversed headstock! Mods only if needed. Will play it as is for a few month and then decide.

Can you post the weight? I probably would have ordered one already, but the reported weights I've read were over 4kg. Cory Mura's review was "it's heavy". My TE-30 was 4.4kg, so I'm a bit put off. Quality and sound are all ok, I think weight is the biggest issue with those guitars. I just got a used TE-52 that was reportedly only 3.2kg, but when I got it, it's actually 3.7kg (according to my scale). Still a bit heavy, but not too bad. It shows that even reported weights might be off by a bit. Possibly mine too. My TE-30 is definitely a boat anchor though, hate wearing that when strapped on. No matter what my scale says. Sound, frets, setup was all ok.

I had a TE-52 that was body heavy and felt like an anchor even though it was the same weight as another guitar I had (not sure which one) but the other one had that weight better balanced across the body-neck so felt less heavy. I don't care about the weight per se but whether the its Body Heavy! If so I can not carry such guitar on my old shoulders I will always trade an Ash or Alder guitar that is body heavy with a Basswood light weight body that has a heavier maple neck instead. I feel heavy neck is paramount for pronounced Freqs up and down the fretboard. Light neck might suck up certain freqs. This is only my personal Theory of course, based on my limited experience with el guitars.

In short;
Will return this guitar ASAP! Bridge misaligned 3mm approx, maybe more. 3 piece body mismatched in color, not nice looking at all. Pups dont sound anything special to my ear. Disappointed I am.

Disappointed I am. i was keeping my fingers crossed on both hands for your order. but was kind of expecting this. a part from the desastreus fret work my Bstock order was perfect. for the pickups i did the effort to listen to them for about 5 minutes, but that was it. there at the bottom of my parts draw. to my ears i have never heard filtertron's than sounded nice; be them copy's or real.

The untreated neck and fretboard are very dirty. Probably dirty hands did that part. From now on only lacquered maple necks for me.
Hm. Seems to me TE90 FLT is not for me.
