Interesting stats there! But unfortunately, at least here in Spain they do not sell easily,it took me few months, and a price drop to sell the ST-62.. As we say in Finland " The price is right, when the seller & the buyer agree". luckily y got it second hand, so lost only 15€. I still have a DC-CUSTOM & CST-24, these are keepers! Markets are bound to be different elsewhere. I haven't checked but I doubt you'd get much for a Harley Benton in the US yet. What made you sell the ST-62? Just wondering.

salteedog If I had an attic, it wouldn't be an attic. It would be a studio.

I usually sell for around two thirds of what I paid new but will go lower if it's up for too long. I sold a £250 Boss BR600 for £70 and kind of regretted it but that was the average average 2nd hand selling prices at the time. The guy who bought it got a bargain . Rarely use EBay now due to charges and sell on Gumtree. I bought a used BR600 for €50 a while back. Amazing piece of kit for what it is...once I got it working with a generic SD storage card. (Which wasn't easy).

Yeah salteedog those SD cards were like gold dust. The original Boss card could really only hold one fully produced song at a time but I mainly used it as a riff idea sketch pad with a few overdubs and drum backing tracks. I think I paid around £30 for three 1GB cards but they were really hard to get hold of. Great piece of kit and the stereo mics on them were very good.

Yes..the onboard condenser mikes are great. Stereo too so you can record proper binaural audio. I gotta say I still haven't mastered all the recording features.. I need to consult the manual every time I try to do anything fancy. The BOSS COSM effects sound a bit dated too.
For the storage cards ..I bought a compact flash adaptor that takes a regular SD card... As you said, the usual compact flash cards are hard to get hold of and expensive these days.

I was no expert either and most of the Cosm effects were cheese but there is a way to edit those presets to suit your taste im guessing you've figured already.
