Cheers man! Glad I found the right EQ. This is very similar EQ to the one above which was played through the Digitech RP70 guitar modeling pedal. It must be the pedal which doesn't have the balls. Now its just waiting for the Zoom B1ON pedal and see how that sounds (I hope for great)

I can't listen to it now, as I am on my phone, but I'm interested to see how it sounds. Remember, sometimes, less is more

Remember, sometimes, less is more Trust me, once you hear it you will see that More is More I got that sound by lowering highs and mids ALL the way down and Lows very much high. I even went up with the frequency. It looks like this in the 3-band EQ on Reaper; Low: +14.0 Freq: 22000.0 Mids: -24 Freq: 2217.0 High: -24 Output: -11 As you see I had to take the highs and mids all the way down to get this sound.

I still haven't listened yet, but your frequencies confuse me. You are saying that your lows are 22000hz?
(By "less is more", I was referring to removing the DigiTech from the equation).

Yes, correct; Low 22000 hz and +14.0 db This is direct into the audio interface and then into Reaper's 3-band EQ. I cant get the bass bark if I dont go up with the Freq. As for the +14 db if I go higher it becomes boomy/not nice sounding.

I have listened to it now, and it is starting to sound more bass like I find the frequencies strange. I usually crossover lows at around 80 to 100Hz, mids at around 3000hz and highs the rest (obviously this varies depending on different things). Do you have the wav file that you recorded direct, without EQ? If so, and you want to, send it to me by email and I will have a look/listen.

I only have it saved with the EQ. But I can play it again and record anew and then send it the raw bass sound. But it will not sound good without the EQing.

Just a quick update; I think its been month and a half now since I've got this amazing bass ( for what, 42 Euros? ) and I only had to tune the strings 3 times the first week because they were new. After that no tuning was necessary. These tuners are working perfectly! At least for now

I really like the bare wood look! "Mary had a little lamb, She also had a bear, I've often seen her little lamb, But I've never seen her bare"

Make a small ring around the pickup that just covers up the swimming pool?
You can attach this ring to the body with a few small pieces of double-sided tape.

blablas, the pickup sides where the screws are, are above the wood, you know those 4 "wings". I dont know how to cut nicely the ring to fit them snugly ... But I think I can live with this ... I might end up buying a veneer pickguard for it any way so ... For now I will leave it like this because it feels like a new bass is in the house

Nice!! I was keeping my eye on that Bass, but then the MM-copy popped up and the SC-custom. And since I play more guitar than bass... Antways, nice buy man. Hope you have a great time with it.
