If you don't know how or wan't to set up the intonation of your guitar, do not touch this
Anf if you wan't to learn, try it on a more "intonation friendly " bridge like the ones on a Strat or a LP

From the look of it, that screw tightens the saddle in place. Loosening it will allow fine tuning the intonation of the B and G strings by moving it forward. I would assume the rest of the bridge can be adjusted after loosening the outer screws.

Oh, there are more screws. Now, that's better. A hybrid between adjusting height and length at the same time would be a fiddling nightmare. You'd have to adjust the whole bridge first since you cannot set intonation for the other strings otherwise.
That picture is a little strange, by the way. My lower saddles for A and E are usually further away than those for B and G but it should depend on the strings themselves and on the action.

Once set, intonation should hold until strings wear out. It will need adjusting if strings are replaced with a different type, especially if the string gauge is changed.

Thank you, actually everything seems quite right in its place and I hope it will hold for a while. Then when the pitch will no longer hold I'll try adjusting the two screws first and then the top one for g and b chords If intonation/pitch is good now but goes bad after a few month change the old strings instead of adjusting the bridge Old strings can loose intonation and its useless setting up the bridge for them and then once you get new strings on you will need to re-adjust the intonation again ... I change strings every 3-4 month.

I have never played a HB ( and I played several ) that would not deserve at least a pickups swap

Ok guys, I finally got it. Ran to may parents' house to snag it, brought it home, and tore into it. I think I got a nice one gents. Initial thoughts: - no scratches, dents, or shipping damage - very heavy guitar (I love mahogany!!!) - guitar came tuned (is that good???), maybe would have been better to ship with the strings slackened - no rough frets. Edges are smooth like my buttocks - looks like a beauty I cranked it up and played back to back with my Epi LP Ultra (upgraded with ProBuckers) - the HB is heavy as heck, I love the weight - nice thick neck. I love these. - nice warm clean tone. Push/pull makes very little difference. - has a nice snarl with a high gain distortion pedal. The Epi had more of a bite in dirt mode. But the HB sounded fantastic (Roswell vs. ProBuckers). - action was set nicely. Not too high, and not too low. No buzzing. - plastic nut. Oh well. So for $161 + shipping ($202 total) ... I'm hystatic. I can't make a comparison to my old PRS-SE as it's been sold because I couldn't connect with it. Maybe it's the different radii of each neck. I like the flatter neck of the HB. At the moment, how can I complain? Does this compare to a $600 PRS-SE I don't know ... but it's a whole lot cheaper and sounds/looks fantastic. I think I lucked out and got a good one. Thanks for putting up with me guys. I'm like a kid who found a brand new toy store ... for pennies to the dollar.

Happy NGD!
Thick neck? I consider the neck on my CST 24T to be quite thin but perhaps it's relative?

Happy four you man. Personally I would say its good that it arrived in tune. Possibly a sign it got some QC.
