^I guess putting on 12 tuning heads gets a bit tiring at the end.

^I guess putting on 12 tuning heads gets a bit tiring at the end. Perhaps they had to take a 'comfort break' and handed it to Junior to finish off. "Just do that last one like the rest. You can't go wrong."

So I decided to record a song with this gorgeously sounding guitar. It's Neil's song "Trasher", I think it's a beautiful track. My voice sounds a bit bored but that's how Neil does it too (good excuse, eh?). I tuned it to D with EJ-36 D'Addarios. Let me know what you think!

Due to musical differences I've decided I can't work with myself any more.

How's this recorded marit ? I'm so glad I converted my 12 string into a 6 string Nashville tuning. My fingers didn't like landing on those parallel bars at all. And my picking hand really rebelled. Trouble is, deciding which holes and nut slots to use to get the best string spacing. It's not been as obvious as it first appeared. I decided to do an odd thing and record a cover using it and that cheap Suzuki Hummingbird. My plan was to slavishly copy the techniques of the original. Studying it hard on headphones I was amazed to discover a lot of things including that distinctly lop sided in one ear opening and lots of grunts and throat clearing in the opening intro. All of these I madly copied! Hope you like it. https%3A//soundcloud.com/defjef-973274447/wish-you-were-here-slavish-recreation-true-mix

Having tuned it to D with light strings eased it a lot and it still has great sound. I recorded this with my iPhone SE

I sure hear improvement well done! Love the sound of that guitar too!

Ah. That's a shame. You are doing your voice a great disservice. I reckon it would sound good up in the mix a bit. I was surprised actually at how loud my voice came out seeing as the guitar has quite a bit of volume. This was just to try out and for the forum people to hear how great the guitar sounds. I thought the sound wasn't too bad, honestly
