Neck 5.65K DCR Bridge 6.47K Dimension and DCR matches the following models STA-BSTA-NNo cloth wires though - just the regular pvc stuff which makes sense give cloth wire is just of value for aftermarket pickups (some folk perceive cloth as having a more 'vintage' cachet and many modders prefer it to work with) but its worthless for OEM stock pickups (add expense and is for the most part invisible and makes no difference to tone).

Due to musical differences I've decided I can't work with myself any more.

Hi everyone, was scratching my head figuring out why this neck plays so well(for me anyway) and so I checked the nut measurement.Well Lordy be!It's not 41mm as described on thomann's page but a massive whopping 43mm!But I love it! Gosh they sure wrote a lot of bull**** on that page. Just measured my older model and yep, 43mm there with a string spacing of about 36mm. Then I measured all my other guitars and they are all about the same. The only one that isn't is my very comfortable Affinity strat which is indeed 41mm with a string spacing of about 34mm. I'd never noticed a problem with this narrower spacing so had a go on the Affinity just now and I don't seem to feel any problem either down the cowboy chord end even with open string jazz chords or further up and leaving drones. I'm glad I measured though (never done it before). I can see that I could widen the spacing with a new nut if it became a problem. I'd never thought of myself as having slim fingers, just quite long ones. Perhaps that's why I have no issues with nut widths or neck profiles.

I had been wanting to buy a shortscale guitar for a long time but after having tried my friend's '62 Jaguar was put off by the fretboard radius,pu sounds and of course, the price. The Ms60 was a cheap gamble for me...and it paid off!

I have a guitar with a spacing of 33.3 mm. It did make a noticeable difference at first but I got used to it fairly quickly.

For me 44-45 mm would be perfect. My fingers are on a wider side and I really dislike when the opposing string zings out when it touches the nail of the finger on the opposite string (uh, lots of words here)
This also brings me back to staying away from Les Paul string spacing and remain with a slightly wider Fender spacing.

The actual nut width on my MS60 is 42.3mm (measured using a well calibrated calipers) - string spacing at nut 35.7mm. I just measured all my HBs and they are all pretty similar - no wider than 43mm at nut.

That’s fair enough. I think he does 2 Tele style guitars.
It was more the fact that you can choose nut width, unless I’m imagining it.
Ok, Richard at Richard’s guitars has some GS at a different width, it’s not a choice most can have.

Im thinking of buying another HB guitar, a guitar for more cleanish style playing with single coils. I dont like harsh single coils so for me vintage style SC are perfect and these 2 x Wilkinson WVSC Live vintage style singlecoil pickups sound amazing on the Thomann page. I cant find any you tube videos on this guitar. The only reference are the very positive comments on the page. One comment sais that some work is necessary on this guitar and this is the only thing putting me off because i dont know how to fix things and paying extra is out of question. But I like this guitar, elegant shape for elegant and sensitive playing style. Guitar shapes and pickups can effect my playing a lot. Humbuckers are inspiring me towards heavy riffing for example. This guitar also has a Jazzmaster trem bridge which apparently can cause buzzing but that can be remedied by placing something under the strings. Any more info on this guitar would be greatly appreciated! LINK MS-60 Vintage Check John Robson's channel on YouTube, he did a good review of the guitar... (****, just realized that this topic is quiet old...)
