I think they're intended for metal heads but i saw a documentary a while back where the Bandit is apparently a popular choice among delta blues guitarists in the South due to its good tone and used affordability, The Samual L Jackson film Black Snake Moan tips it's hat to the Bandit also. 😎 There's always the option of trying the joyo/HB American Sound/British or AC tone in front of it to colour the speaker if you own one of those pedals before you sell it on.

I dont have those pedals Djangle but I will try my Multi FX units now and see how that sounds ... I will put it for sale anyway but I dont mind if I dont sell it. Im sure it would sound good in a band situation.

That's a shame it's not your bag papache but if your looking for crystal cleans then probably a fender amp like DefJef recommends would be a better choice. Anyhow here's that great documentary I was referring to just in case you get second thoughts.🤘

Just remembered that I have the NUX Amp Simulator pedal I tried it and it certainly does improve the tone BUT it also introduces some annoying noise in form of a high pitched "peeeeeeeeeeee" sound Hm, maybe I should get one of those cheapo Ammoon American Sound from Aliexpress?

Be aware there will be some hiss with the Amp sim pedals. I use the AC tone through a Kustom tube 12 and there can be hiss the more you add gain but you don't hear while your playing. Throwing more money at it a bit of a gamble if your not happy with it just now so.......go with your gut instinct 👍

Am I right to assume that AC Tone pedal has more hiss/hum than the American Tone?
Ammoon has a cheap American Sound pedal.

Am I right to assume that AC Tone pedal has more hiss/hum than the American Tone? Ammoon has a cheap American Sound pedal. I have both. AC-Tone is slightly more biased towards high-end in the mids so it's perhaps it a tad hissier but truthfully there's not much difference between them: both hiss at high gain (>11 o'clock) or when the voicing dial is set high (>3 o'clock). But that's the nature of gain in amps too.

I've also got both, hiss is roughly identical.

The American Sound sounds crap on my Bugera Infinium V22 full tube amp BTW, the AC-Tone sounds very good on the same amp!
