Ok folks time for helping me before i pull a trigger on this one (or not). Its second hand and comes with a footswitch (which isnt of much importance to me). 115 eur (850 danish crowns)
This is not the red stripe one that most adore but the lastest silver face/stripes on both sides. Its 100 watts. I need it in case I find a band (still searching in the countryside of Denmark).
I think it comes with Blue Marvel speaker. Is this a good speaker? Good amp?
Need it to be clean and to take pedals good. To be on the brighter rather than dark side. Mostly to be used with single coils/P90's
Still waiting for sellers reply ...

Don't know, can't help you much... I think the best way to find out is to play it, so you can hear if the clean is what you like, or not. Make sure you play it for at least 20 mins to a half hour, was a tip I received. Sometimes valve amps cut out, or drop in volume after 15 mins. That could point to replacing valves, or a bigger problem. Or so I'm told...

I will update you once I get it tomorrow

I can see myself having a small practice all tube amp because there are only 2 tubes to change (and tubes cost) For a louder amp I cant see myself paying so much to replace tubes and to bias them etc ... It seems Bandits are the best option for my tight budget.

As far as I know, when you replace the tubes for the same type it was already running, the amp doesn't have to be biased. Only if you switch from EL34's to, let's say, 6L6's. And if you play for about 3 times a week, for an hour or maybe 2, they should last at least 2 to 5 years. Although I've heard some people that they still play over tubes that are at least 12 years old. I bought my first tube amp just last week or so, for €190,- 2nd hand. Used it last night at rehearsal, all night. No problems what so ever. A tube amp doesn't have to be expensive, so I found out. I don't have a big budget either

Still 190 Eur compared to 94 Eur for a 100 Watt amp with a volume attenuator (25%, 50%, 100%) FX Loop, Emulated Speaker out, cab out, 2 chanles and each channel has 3 voicings (classic, vintage, modern) all analogue, no digital stuff here ... is good value and no worries to knock it around a bit. BB King was not afraid to use Solid State amps for gigging yet the man is a KING if it sounds great, hell yeah sais I

Solid states are certainly not bad. I also have a Fender Champion 100. It does have effects and stuff, but I almost never use those. It's mostly on the same settings. Just go try it, that's the best way to find out.

They are supposed to be terrific amps. I'm still kicking myself I didn't pick up a blue stripe Bandit with Sheffield speaker for about €120 last year. Go for it.
I love my Fender Stage 112se - 12 inch speaker with sweet spring reverb. It's a loud beast though.

damn, you sit in front of 100W this close to it. all joking aside there's a simple reasoning in amps which consists of a trio. of fender, marshal, vox every other amp(blackstar, bugera, orange, mesa boogie, ........) is a variation of these three. if you don't like the peavy just re sell it pouring money in it is just a waste. same goes for your bugera, keep the money for the speaker and re sell it for something else. after a while you'll find your self rotating to one of the trio.

The Bugera is staying. I love that amp, it's Mojo but speaker swap will brighten it up for my taste. Perfect for recording.
The Bandit was an impulsive buy. I simply felt the need to have gear capable of band rehearsal with loud drummer in case I finally find a band. It takes time to get to know an amp, settings etc ... This amp has some fine options with Voicing, speaker dampening (at the back), volume attenuator ... all these effect the tone.
The stock speaker sounds very clean. This amp is designed to be played on higher volumes so for me to judge it I will have to wait for my wife and baby boy to leave the house.
I can't afford better Fender, Marshall, Vox amps
