Having a serious think about ordering this. Any owners convince me to pull the trigger? Looks like a similar guitar to Martin 000x1e but better specs. I've played the Martin amd loved the shape but it was a bit bright and more than twice the price...

I'd definitely give it a go dodger, these acoustic guitars are great value for money as we've already found out.

I was just thinking folks. What mikes do you use for recording acoustics? Or can you bear the sound of a piezo? DefJef I record with the built in condenser mics on my Boss BR80 but haven't had time to record anything for a while - and it takes a while to transfer and save to mp3 etc as well. Piezos are fine for live work as I can get a passible sound from the mixer and preamp (and as a duo it doesn't need to sound pristine) but I wouldn't use one to record - doesn't sound right at all.
Condenser mics seem to capture the sound well although they do sound a bit clean or overproduced sometimes if you know wh at I mean

The dispatch progress has started - am I the only one who checks their email every 5 minutes to see if the status has changed?
