It is always the same guitar verified with the st-62cc mn dr and st-62 mn vw and i think that a simple color difference do not justifies the price more High. thanks, this is what I thought too. If compare those (2019/2020) with old my st-62 3ts 2018 known difference of finish, shape neck and tuners, this isn't good. I do not fully understand what you mean, did the newer version get better?

buscon No the opposite, for me the old version is better even if it is not a huge difference, but it becomes better if you consider the price 119 € vs 141 €. Also add the confusion that I know the 60's st have 3ply pickguards, well my Dakota Red has it mono while others two as it is right that they have it 3ply. These are details, but unfortunately it's so. These price swings penalize the st-62 because I believe that at € 119 it is difficult to find better
I see, thanks for the clarification.
I might order both guitars when they are available and compare them. In case I do, I will report back.

I might order both guitars when they are available and compare them. In case I do, I will report back. hi again, I am answering to myself, because maybe this information might be relevant for someone else too. I got the ST-62CC model in blue color (now it's gone) and I had a ST 62 RW SB of 2019. The fretboard of the RW SB was very black, nothing special at the touch. The back of the neck was glossy. The ST-62CC has instead a beautiful satin neck and a real pau ferro fretboard, that feels really good by playing. I can compare it to the pau ferro fretboard of my fender player series, very similar. I do not know why the ST 62 RW SB does not have such a good fretboard, though based on the description on Thomann website it should be pau ferro too. Shortly said: maybe the ST-62CC have a better neck/fretboard than the other ST-62 models? if that is true, I totally justify the extra money.
