Oh yeah ! Nice green axe ! It sounds like 2020 is gonna be a very good year for HB. Hopefully they won't **** the QC up, cos' at that price point, they won't be forgiven. I wouldn't take this colour as a promise. This is a prototype and many of them never see production. Cory Mura had a couple of videos in which he showed things that never made it to the product line. Given that the old green Fanfret models have all disappeared, I guess we might not see more of this but we won't know until it's on the web site. Quality appears to have been more consistent over the Pro line but I agree they can't afford generating returns at that level. They are competing with the real deal there, not with the cheap end of the Squier or Epiphone line. It would be not only damaging in pure terms of profit margin, it's broader acceptance that will make it or break.

Hi guys, Those who have watched Agufish's mega unboxing video have already seen this great looking super strat that breathes metal. Thanks to a guy on the Harley Benton Facebook page, now we know what the specs and prices are gonna be. Prices will be : - 499€ for the regular 6 strings version 25.5" scale lenght - 545 for the baritone 6 strings version 27" scale lenght - 599€ for the 7 strings version 25.5" scale lenght OMG. FINALLY. With presumably good fret/nut job, these pickups and decent finish HB is really stepping up the game for the money. JUST DO IT. Note- I personally don't care about this models but do about the fact that they are trying to sturdy up the market up to 1000 euros with models that don't require any hardware change (at least by "name").

I'm happy they're moving this way too. On the facebook group, I see many people very reluctent, some saying that HB should not go there. But in the other hand, some other people can't wait to see these new models coming. It's gonna take a bit of time, but with help of influent youtubers and if the QC is at lkeast as good as for the fusion pro, I think they're able to make themselves a nice place on this market of very good guitars.
Before these Amarok, there's gonna be the EX pro series. They should be high quality Explorer line, and it sounds like they're coming very soon. I'll get my hands on one of these and make a video on my channel.

If they are making a 27" 6-string, I very much doubt the 7-string will be shorter. I believe this is an editing error. These are out now and the 7-string model still states a 25.5" scale. I guess it is not an error anymore. A bit disappointing, though. The baritone 6-string comes with a 27" scale and 14-68 strings. The 5th string, a 0.056, could be tuned to B already. I wonder how this is supposed to be used.

Too bad they don't mention in which tuning the guitar comes. Anyway, I couldn't resist ordering. Not into baritones cos I don't feel easy on long scales, so I pulled the trigger on a regular 6. Of course, demo and review coming ASAP So here's the one I chose

Good. Looking forward to the review. I suppose the baritone is to be tuned to B1, as a 7-string, but with potential for downtuning to A or lower. A 14 as a high B string is fine too.

68 for a low B is really big ! Even funnier : the 7 strings Amarok comes stock with 10-59. There definitely is something I don't understand

Yes, if 59 on 25.5" is meant to be good for B1, then 68 on 27" is something else altogether. There is room for downtuning. The F# on an 8-string is usually a 74.

Update: a 68 tuned to A1 will have a similar tention to a 59 tuned to B1. Going further down to G1 would require a 74 for the same tension (roughly 19.5 lbs) So that's the idea. The Baritone is to be tuned to drop A. Tuning it up to B1 will put 25 lbs on the string, which is ok but quite taut.
