I used the dimensions from this Delano data sheet. The link to the Delano data sheet isn't actually a link. Would you mind resending?

Temporary attached all the components to check if everything fits inside the cavity and how the string align over the pickup pole-pieces. Looks good, next step is shielding and sorting out the wiring.

It is really looking good! It is climbing on my gas list!
To do something similar, but keeping the P pickup in it's position, would you suggest moving the MM pickup closer to the bridge, or keeping it where you have it?

The position I used is exactly where it is on a MusicMan (converted to 30"), if you want to keep the P-pickup in it's original position you'll have to move the MM pickup about 4 millimeters closer to the bridge (with a 30"scale), if you don't move one of the two they will be in each other's way. You won't be able to hear a difference in sound with these small distance variables.

Blablas i have a question for you.I gonna get a used Yamaha Attitude, not the Sheehan signature, the simple P bass, and i gonna try to convert it to Attitude one.The big Attitude have a Will Power diMarzio P pickup in the midle and one DiMarzio Model one humbucker in neck position. What is your opinion if i use an MM pup in place of the Model one,in neck position.Have you any experience with location and MM pup? Thanks

Model One is a Mudbucker style pickup and this style of pickup is muddy with really fat lows, almost no mids and no highs whatsoever.
A MM humbucker is completely different sounding animal from a Mudbucker, with less lows and more highs and mids, I've got no personal experience with one in the neck position but see no reason why it shouldn't work there, but don't expect it to sound like a Model One.
If you are looking for that specific muddy sound you should either go for a Artec Sidewinder or a DiMazio Model One.

I want a bass to sound like Billy, maybe a Model one is the key for his sound is conjuction with a very midy and punchy P pickup in the midle, just how his signature basses is.Just like very much the MM pickups,i don't have any bass with them on.Maybe it's time for a Harley benton B series Cheers

Body shielding. Before: And after: Used materials - Copper tape and graphite paint. Now that I have seen this photo, the placement of the pickups is clearer to me. I guess it would be easier to route the MM closer to the bridge than try to move the P. BTW, do you get the shielding tape from Thomann also?

If you want to move the P-pickup you need to make a new pickguard for sure, if you move the MM pickup from the original MM position you can still use the one that's already on the bass. If it was my project I would move the MM pickup. BTW, do you get the shielding tape from Thomann also? No, from a Dutch online guitar-parts shop where I order most of the parts I need. It's just ordinary copper tape with a conducting glue.

Blablas, one question more for you.Is possible to use a single aluminium foil, the simple one we found in SuperMarkets for food, and some type of glue to shielding cavities with same results like yours?

Yes you can, but it is more difficult to apply, the coper tape is self-adhesive, another disadvantage for aluminium foil is that you can't solder to it.
