I have a Kustom PH2012R which is a decent practice amp. The clean channel is very good and the overdrive "channel" is more in the Marshall territory. Its great for rhythm as it is but needs pedals for lead guitar. The Reverb it has is very good. I chose this practice amp because it comes with a Kustom 12" speaker which sounds awesome.
I also have a small practice Harley Benton CG15 which will be modded soon. I will make it so it can be plugged into a 12" (4ohm) speaker cabinet.
That said Im looking to buy either a tube guitar amp or a bass map which can be used for both guitar and bass playing. Ongoing search and research ...
But I often play through my Digitech RP70 (into headphones) which sounds awesome and very stereo sounding too.
How about you? Do you have any amps?

Hi my name is Nick and I have a problem...
So practice amp is a Yamaha THR10C solid state sort of modeling amp. This thing is just perfect for sitting at my desk playing... And works as a pretty darn good USB recording interface as well.
Main every day amp is a Phaez Dragonfly. They're handmade by a guy in Windsro, ON Canada. Clean channel is basically a blackface Fender Deluxe. Dirty channel is a Dumble overdrive Special circuit. Killer amp and a steal for what I got it for. All tube 20 watts. I run this through either my Vox 112 greenback or my Harley Benton 112 vintage 30.
And here's where things get a bit crazy: Blackstar HT5RH mini stack with 2 Blackstar 112 cabs Fender Hot Rod Deluxe Mesa Boogie Rectoverb 50 Bugera BC30 (amazing underrated amp based on Matchless DC30) Vox AC4TV with matching 112 cab Ibanez TSA15 Jet City JCA20H (just got in a trade) Hovercraft Dwarvenaught 20 (Jet City JCA20 hotrodded into 70s fuzz and dirtbag amp) Peavey ValveKing II 20MH Mahaffay Mini Plexi hybrid amp And last and literally least Hotone Purple Wind micro head
It's been a year of experimentation on the amp front. I'm actually starting the thinning process now to get down to a reasonable number.

I would stick with the Blackstar, the Mesa and the Mahaffay and sell the rest [the Ibanez would be the first to go]. Those 3 are great all 'round amps to get your tones [plus the Hovercraft... but do you really need it? Wouldn't a fuzz pedal be better?]

Only one. A Bugera V22 Infinium full tube combo. The others are bass combo's. The primary use for the Bugara is also for bass by the way.

@cheguebuddha : Yes it's really nice for a beginning. My favourite band (After The Burial) have this amp for the rehearsal and pre-production of their last album "Wolves Within" at home

Those 3 are great all 'round amps to get your tones [plus the Hovercraft... but do you really need it? Wouldn't a fuzz pedal be better?] Really, at the end of the day I could stick with the Mesa and the Phaez and never need another amp again. The Blackstar is awesome no doubt I've just had it a long time and its cleans are good but lacking compared to something with a bit more oomph so to speak. The $50 Blackstar overdrive pedal is actually a good replacement if you have a good amp. The Mahaffay is a lot of fun for sure but it's actually on its way out. I get similar tones with less noise by stacking my Mojomojo and Dark matter pedals from TC Electronic. Plus it needs a noise gate in front of it as its super noisy with single coils. The Dwarvenaught honestly is an odd ball. I have a couple of dirt/fuzz pedals that do a good job but this amp is just a ton of fun to crank out and play loud. Hard to explain it. but it's just crazy fun to play out of. I'm not even a fan of the styles of music that it's trying to be for. And you nailed the Ibanez. It's likely the first one out of the collection (with the AC4TV). Clean channel with hum buckers needs to be cranked to have personality. Drive is fun as its a tube screamer and there's a reason people love it. It takes pedals well, but that's like saying a girl has nice personality. Was a cheap investigation and I should be a blue to get out what I have into it pretty easily. For the others, the Hot Rod Deluxe is there to by my gigging amp if I ever realize my rock and roll fantasy lol. Not a fan of the drive but that's what pedals are for!

I used to have a Fender Twin amp (100W tube, 2x12) but it was too big to be practical for my use.
So I downsized to a Laney Cub12 (15w tube, 1x12, also has a <1W mode) which is much more manageable. It does a crunchy/overdrive sound quite nicely to fit in with other instruments. Plugged it into a 2x12 Marshall cab the other day and got a nice rich sound for blues/jazz too. Not super clean or any good for metal but does me nicely.
Doesn't stop me having serious GAS for a Kemper Profiling amp though.
