Congrats man! That is absolutely gorgeous. I'm psyched for you! And I love the three guitar plan for next round. Get the most out of the $33!
Also thanks for chiming in on the channel with the troll. He comments from time to time and it's always the same story. Che and Freaking Pawn have also had interactions with him. I haven't banned anyone on my channel and I'm not going to start if I can avoid it. I'm positive he's never played a Benton, he just can't comprehend a $150 or $200 guitar sounding good. Such is life and his loss.

I don't know any of you guys but we're all members of this HB community. You guys are my guitar buds haha #cheesy. I saw the same thing when I was at music school, trolls that are concerned more with the monetary value of your gear and how many notes you can fit in a measure than how much fun you're having.

I just hate it when people force what they think others should value in an instrument in them. And then to have never played one of that type and crap on it is just lousy. I'm sure he hasn't played one. He just can't imagine them being good and equates them to low end jay tursers or other oddities. Can't blame him for that but to be so outspoken about it is just annoying. I was was skeptical as well but a few people whose opinions I value got theirs and were very surprised! I the. Jumped into the fray. I've had over 20 come through my hands for myself and friends who jumped in to save on shipping. I've only had three guitars with issues. One with crooked tuners, one damaged in shipping and one with a hideous top. Everything else was pretty darn impressive relative to price. All for the price of a used 1959 reissue Gibson!

I have been wondering a while who you are talking about (English is not my born language)
Though I am not completelly sure, but It looks like you are talking about me ...
So just in case : I own a CST24HB and I play it.
I own some guitars more expensive than HB, but less than ANY Gibson.
And a Gibson 59 reissue would pay 2 or 3 times all my guitars
my 2 cents

Ah ok Sorry guys, trolls are so common in the French forum I'm used to, that I must be a little too "sensitive" about that theme. edit : I think I've found what it was all about on Nick's channel. You did well, but in fine, interacting with this guy is just a loss of time and energy. Because he won't change his mind anyway edit 2 : schnee I'm really interested in your opinion about how this guitar sounds with its pups. I was decieved by mine, but still wondering, as I felt it sounded far bellow several demos I listened to on the net. Thus, I'm happy with it since I upgraded it with Duesenberg pups. But I still have in mind to change the bridge for a more qualitative one .... and perhaps the nut too in the same time, knowing how it is an influencial piece for the sound.

Hey Nick you had better get this only used 1959 reissue Gibson Hehe this is how that would go... I'd buy that guitar. One of my kids would break it.... And I'd cry for a month. When I retire in 20 years I'll do that.... And my grandkids will break it. And it will be ok because we all know grandkids can do no wrong lol.

Suspicion confirmed nick, he's never played one. Lol,yup. He's commented on probably 10 of my videos. Goes on a rant. Usually also insults my playing and that of Tim. Then after all is said and done deletes his posts. Now I can ignore him in peace.

.. And I'd cry for a month. In fine, I bet you would cry same for inexpensive guitars. Because hard-to-replace models are not necessary the more expensive ones

At least it will outlive you and you descendants].

24 hours in she's just as great. The only "flaws" we're a tiny bit of a paint chip on a point of the headstock (minuscule) and the B string had a little bit of a sitar type ring every now and then. I adjusted the bridge and it disappeared. Literally a quarter turn on the nut on the bridge.
Sounds:
The whole guitar has a spanky tone to it which is great.
Bridge: hot but able to get a nice clean tone. Has a good growl to it. Middle position: it's got some twang. Kind of like position 2 or 3 on a strat but with the power of a humbucker Neck: round but punchy. Still has some good output.
Really a jack of all trades. If you roll back the tone knob it really mellows out.
