I only like the clean amps not the hi gain on NUX. But I love hi gain on my Digitech RP70.
Zoom seems a better option but Digitech are very fine stereo sounding units which I personally prefer for playing into headphones or recording even.
I only ever played the Zoom B1 for bass and I was not impressed at all (returned to Thomann)
For me Digitech is sounding awesome! Makes you wanna play more.
Nah don't buy this Nux, it's not as good as I first thought it to be. But I love the NUX Drive Core overdrive pedal and in case it's broken I would buy it again.

My pedal arrived a few days ago. I bought mainly to take on holiday to replace my Zoom G1on. The Zoom is a great pedal and is easy to edit, but alot of buttons to press and menus to go through. The NUX is nice having direct control of most things with more knobs/buttons. The NUX hardware is sturdy and well made, easily comparable to the Zoom. Soundwise, vs the Zoom through a PA,the NUX sounds more dynamic & fresh making the Zoom seem a little dull. I find there is great control and to me the distorted sounds are very tube like and less digital than the Zoom. Editing is very easy and similar to the Zoom. Now the not so good bits......... Typical of alot of Chinese stuff, the interface seems lacking. First off, the USB is not recognised . Not sure what the socket is doing there. Cant find any support on the NUX site and no mention of it in the manual. Next, battery life sucks. Hardly surprising with the colour screen which is set to full brightness. There is no 'system' menu to control brightness or engage a battery save mode. Weird. Drums are not bad, but for some reason when you change the pattern, its also changes the BPM which seem to be randomly set. So say I choose Rock Pattern 1 and set for 120BPM, when I select Rock Pattern 2, the BPM may change to 177. Doh.........not sure what NUX are thinking ...........pity the software doesnt match hardware. Also, when you switch unit on, defaults to user patch 1A, not the last one you were using. With USB not working, I cant see how firmware changes can be installed. I have fired an email to NUX....see if they respond. All in all, the NUX will do everything the Zoom will do, its easier to operate and sounds better so am willing put up with the quirks! If NUX sorted the firmware, it would be a killer pedal...........

Discovered another quirk. Using internal batteries the unit starts cutting out when the display shows half charge. To me it seems this was released prematurely without proper testing as its full of bugs. Undoubtedly could be sorted with a firmware upgrade, but they have to come up with a fix for USB first.
..............or maybe I have a faulty unit?

Congrats for the MG200 and thank you for all the information about this effect. One question, did you ever use other pedal with MG 200? Like drive pedal connect to MG200 and use delay or reverb at the MG200?, just curious is the drive pedal still has natural sound or not, or get a sucking tone or something like that. Thank you.

I used Nux Drive Core infront but it doesn't sound that good I find. The MG200 drive or distortion don't sound that good either imo.
I recently purchased Digitech RP225 and is the best multi untit I've played so far!!! Also takes pedals well (delays and over drives and perfect infront of the amp for amp + cab voicing! Love this RP225! I play funky rock so no hi gain reviews on my part. Fender amp + cab sims are fabulous and the Compressor is just great! Also a very good EQ on this unit! I bought mine second hand for little money. Best Buy for sure (for my playing style , the Noise Gate is crap so if you do high gain music note this please)
