Looks interesting. I'm thinking Pacifica meets Schecter. If they hit the price Henning said its half the cost of the 611h but £100 more than the 311. I'd like to see the option of a plain top, I'm not a fan of bling, and the purple would be a big no for me. It's looking promising though, I'd probably give this a go when it comes out.

Not interested unless they do a lefthanded model. Also, I don't like the blingy top, the purple pup covers, the locking tuners (unnecessary) , the bolt on neck, and the fiddly strat type extra switch. I don't like the headstock either. But P90 neck and HB bridge is a great combo.

Yes this is my idea of desirable 'bling' :-

Can't quite believe that this forum isn't going mad about these. This should be an interesting, versatile, unbelievable value guitar.

I doubt t's going to win many hearts with the colours though rockbadger. It kinda reminds me of a Dyson appliance.

Haha, maybe that's the pre-prototype model DefJef Thing is it could be an incredible guitar but I'd have to throw a blanket over it when I wasn't playing. Are Harley Benton against stained or oiled wood finishes? I know we have the TE in natural & ST swamp ash but they're few & far between. Maybe everyone's crazy for the maple caps at the minute? I'm in the plainer is better camp.

I'd like a natural stain too but that's not happening for now. Even better with a more interesting wood like bubinga or (a nice) poplar. Even quilted maple which they do elsewhere.
And surely the purple pickups will disappear for the proper production runs (I think nickel would look best). Either that or they'll be going cheap since no one will want them (a win either way).

Due to musical differences I've decided I can't work with myself any more.
