Update: Put .10's on. Roller T-s, graphite in nut, adjusted action and tightened trem spring a bit It's pretty amazing. It totally stays in tune, it's not a floyd obv but way better than any strat tremolo I've had. Played it pretty much non-stop last couple of days. I am really happy with it. Anyone considering it should go ahead and take the plunge. It's great isn't it? Stock strings are a bit light so good idea to upsize those (should get rid of any rattle). I might go down the roller saddle route too if it becomes a problem but I'll wait to see. Last ones I had from Northwest Guitars didn't fit my Bigsby wearing 335 but I've played that for two years and realised that it didn't need them anyway. Glad you're pleased with it. And it doesn't feel small at all does it?

Ok lads; do you find the neck to be too narrow for playing (41mm nut) ?

I didn't mind it when I had one here. This could partly have been because I also had a Classic Vibe DuoSonic around at that time that had an even narrower nut width.

I'm just tagging the end of this post to say thanks to everybody for their reviews of the MS-60. I got lucky and few days before Christmas a single stray Red MS-60 CA LTD Edition popped up on Thomann (After they had already gone out of stock). I had just finished watching the Video on the MS-60 CA that Nick in the States did (thanks for that) and was wishing I hadn't missed them so when it appeared by magic I had to buy it. Not much to add that hasn't already been eloquently said in the previous reviews in the thread, it's a nice fun guitar. And the Wilkinson WVSC Live pickups are really really nice.. like super really nice, they are making the pickups on my self build strat very nervous that they will soon be replaced with some.

Haha sorry to have teased you with the forbidden fruit but psyched one appeared. That's awesome man. That guitar has a great bit of grit to those pickups that I really enjoyed. Sadly mine has gone on to its final home. I may need to get the trem version for myself.

LOL that's awesome man. They're a serious set of pickups. I had a Squier CV Duosonic at the same time with Fender Noiseless in it. That was like velvet butter... but boring? The MS-60 Was scruffier, more fun and punchier. I like those a lot. It's especially rewarding on a "different" guitar like an offset to have a completely different tone. It earns its keep in the collection that way by having a task!

Damn so you were the one to snatch that from under my nose I saw it but was too slow to pull the trigger. Still really in love with the white one. I keep looking every day to see if thomann adds another finish or some limited ed goodness. I find it kinda hard to go back to full scale now. Had anyone told me a couple months ago that my favourite guitar would be a) an offset body b) sport a weird tremolo c) be a Harley Benton I would have bet a significant amount of money against, and lost.

Hmm, I must have mis-understood something above, logicscripts, but all MS-60 models are currently in stock at Thomann!?

I got around to swapping the pots on mine today. Replaced the stock 500k pots with some nice 250k pots and a new capacitor.
Hard to compare the sound because I switched from 9s to 12s and tuned to C.
It's good though, a nice replacement for my Jazzmaster.

How is that tremolo on the MS-60 ? Does it go out of tune? Why did't HB use roller bridge for this model?

The trem is ok, fairly sensitive but shallow if that makes sense? I'm having no tuning issues.
