How is that tremolo on the MS-60 ? Does it go out of tune? Why did't HB use roller bridge for this model? have the same type of vibrato on my jazzmaster, and of the classic vibrato's(bigsby, 6 pointer, .....) its the most stable. and with the locking mechanism is very versatile. its almost dive bomb worthy. especially if you don't lock the wobble bridge which is part of the design, understand its working and use it as intended and it will not let you down. sadly thy used a standard bridge on the ms 60. with these types of vibrato's is often pinching at the nut, fixed bridge or misalignment of some sort that gives problems.

On YouTube review of HP42 he mentioned that TOM makes strings go high above bridge pickup, so it sounds less pronounced. And there is no room for that pickup height adjustment. Is your experience same? Maybe someone can take a close up picture of MS-60 bridge and pickup?
Many thanks in advance!

Thanks for the picture! It doesn't look as bad as I thought it would be!
Frankly speaking, I suspect that neck is already shimmed, because TOM is higher than normal Fender-style bridges, so MS-60 should not have strings parallel to the body. My idea is to get rid of this shim (if I'm right).

Apologies for the grubby plectrum naaah, that just vintage mojo put that in a vile of premium snake oil for 24h and you could most definitely sell that on Ebay for at least a tenner.

Relic plectrums?
I think I have actually seen "pre worn" plectrums before.

While I was thinking to get MS-60 they changed to Roseacer fretboard. At least for VW model. Not sure what to do right now...

I'm in the conspiracy theory camp and reckon they've just changed the name of the wood. Probably relieved they can now admit what it really is...and then pass up on the chance by using the term 'roseacer'. Oooo debate??? Yeah, I don't know what to think of it. But then why don't they change all rosewood necks to roseacer in the description so they can keep selling 'em to America.

Right now I'm not sure that I have ever played guitar with real rosewood fretboard, maybe all my guitars had roseacer fretboards?
