The manual for my little Infinium V5 did mention this blinking front light hence me telling you here about it. Buty the G20 manual only mentons the back LED going Red when tube needs change.

Very good price I think. Never tried one but I do like the styling on some of the Bugera amps.

It was a nice looking build on the head version. Pity the valves didn't last a week! Better luck this time. At least they are easy to replace and self-biasing. You can't go wrong at that price. Don't think you would loose much if you decided you didn't like it and moved it on. It looks too good to cut it down but that's up to you.

Maybe it was the self-biasing technology that that created the problem with the amp that you got? I mean, if it was so great it would be featured on all modern tube amps?

Sometimes I think we can expect too much from them.

Due to musical differences I've decided I can't work with myself any more.

Maybe it was the self-biasing technology that that created the problem with the amp that you got? I mean, if it was so great it would be featured on all modern tube amps? I think one of the main reasons that top end amps don't use self biasing is that some folk who can afford it actually want to bias their own amps their own way; a bit hot for breakup, a bit cold for cleanliness. Of course the V series Bugeras were originally issued without self biasing. I suspect it was added to fix some problem or other. My concern is that it may protect the valves almost too much to preserve their life at the expense of cooking them. However, till I get paid enough for my music to pay for all that luxury I'm happy to settle for cheapskate stuff.
