I just ordered one. And also one of those new HB mini loopers. I think you are better off with a Ditto because this mini looper is a Mooer clone which has no UNDO option and Ditto has it. You can still change you order

You can still change you order Thanks for that info. I didn't realise there was no undo. I didn't do any research as I just wanted to add enough to the order to get free shipping and I was rushing as I've seen left handed batches of guitars sell out super quickly. I'll probably change the order then.

I think the UNDO is a must in case you are trying to create some soundscapes and you have already made 2 overdubs and screw up the 3rd and then you have to delete the ENTIRE thing because of it UNDO is a must, better add more cash for the Ditto. Thomann's customer service is superb when it comes to changing orders etc ... no issues there

So you got me looking into it a bit more... unless I'm mistaken it does have an undo. The user manual (well page anyway) is on the Thomann site and according to that :-
Am I misunderstanding this?
Also..now that you started me researching, I've noticed the Nux looper (about twice the price of the HB mini) has a boat-load of functionality - looks really powerful and just the type of toy I like....hmmm

And we know papache loves NUX pedals, although I have read about these overheating batteries. My greatest fear is that with all that complexity may come unreliability but it sure seems like a fine design. Try this link if you haven't already. NUX looper test

NUX Looer is a a BOSS copy Im sure but people like it , check you tube. salteedog sure thats what all loopers do; you press for 2 seconds and the WHOLE recording is Deleted you only want to UNDO the last Overdub that you messed up NOT the WHOLE recording, right? Imagine you need 3 overdubs to create what you want and the first two are perfect then you press rec. for the 3rd overdub and you mess it up, so with Ditto you can UNDO the last overdub but with other Loopers like this HB one you delete the entire recording (all 3 overdubs are gone) and you have to start from the scratch I hope you can understand what I just said because I got lost somewhere in the middle (I need sleep)

When playing a loop, press the button for 2 seconds and it deletes the last overdub only (not the complete loop). Press it again for 2 seconds and it restores it. What you cannot do is delete the 3rd overdub, and then the 2nd etc.. When the playback is stopped, pressing the button for 2 seconds deletes the complete loop. I'm open to correction from anyone who owns one but it seems to me that it's pretty much the same as the Ditto.

I think you're right salteedog. There are several lower priced loopers that blur the issue a bit but with some detective work (and YouTube) many do seem to have a delete the last recording facility, by which they seem to mean the last layer not the whole loop. I'd have a look at YouTube to see if you can find a demo.

Well in that case you good to go and please give us a short review about it once you get it. If its true about the UNDO last overdub (without deleting the entire loop) then I too will buy one!

Slightly of topic but may be of interest...
Just shows what can be done.

In that case you win mate, I only came to about 0:50 Too much Looping can make your head spin round'n'round but I like the looper for practice to fit solo and rhtythm parts or practice a solo part, or even for creating some strange sound scapes which are used a bit here and a bit there but not all the time.

Yep, they have their place, but this empty pub isn't one of them. He's getting a good sound out of that acoustic guitar from the bit I heard though.

It appears now my looper wont be shipped to me until middle of June. I've asked them to split the order if possible (for no extra €). If not, I'll be removing the looper from the order...I'm anxious to get the JA-60 asap.
