What pups have you got through papache? I've found singles, no noise at all, Strat & tele work really well. The TE-90 filtertron really shine, and I mean really. The hotrails are kind of meh? Maybe I've not found the sweet spot yet? I don't have a P90 so do tell.

I have some no name china alnico single coils which I like really. By the way I have demystified the boomy sound I have titled the amp and leaned against the wall. This way I kind of closed the back and hence got more bass giving off the boomy sound. Once I placed the amp away from the wall no more boominess. Its a lovely little amp. Need to know it better before i can say more.

Had a very pleasant noodling on me new Bugera and me ST-20 strat tonight. I checked all the pedals and all sound fine. They need tweaking through to get to the sweet spot. Even the NUX Amp Sim is usable as a hi-gain distortion. The Mooer Reecho Twin Series delay sounds awesome. It maybe adds some low end but not sure just yet. The NUX Chorus does lower the volume of the amp (not good). The NUX Drive Core sounds fine. Love the on-board Reverb. Very happy with this purchase. I think its time to let the tubes cool down for the night

Yeah so true. I cant make myself use more than one pedal with this amp and mostly none because it has a great sounding Reverb already. Still fiddling around the Gain and Volume knobs to find the best clean sound and slight break-up. Will take some time until I feel this beauty. Yes my wife is happy with me being happy with it and sure she thinks it looks great. Im not so much for the looks but tone which this box has for sure. Soon to mic the amp and see how i can record it. My only issue is that I dont have the proper XLR mic cable. I have the one that has the guitar-like plug which is not perfect but will do for now.

Ok was fiddling more on the Bugera V5 Inf. and must say the alnico cheap china pups sounds best to my ear. The P90's sound also ok but a not as good. Maybe my TE-90QM needs up the string gauge from 9's to 10's (I will do so very soon) to fatten the sound, the way I like it. The L-450+ humbuckers also sound ok but only on the bridge pup (and I love playing neck and middle positions mostly), so some sort of pedal with a tone shape or EQ will help here. I like my NUX Drive Core's Boost switch which is only clean boost and no drive + tone shape. The reason behind low end is also the small 8"speaker I would say which is smart, to make it sound bigger but extra EQing might be needed depending on the pups. I also hear more low end + more mids upping when I turn up the gain (becomes kind of boomy a bit). Again EQ pedal would do good here. Cermaic pups might need no EQing but my guitars all have alnico now so cant test. The power attenuator is not that much of a need if you are a clean player. I can easily play quiet and get great tone without my wife mentioning a thing. The attenuator only serves the purpose if you crank the Gain + Volume but even then the 0,1 Watt sounds too loud for bedroom practice (noticed by my wife). But if you crank the Gain but lower the Volume you can easily play overdiven tones quiet even on 5 Watt (especially if you roll off the volume on your guitar. I think I could live without that attenuator easily because I do play clean with pedals. Ok thats it for now, there sure will be more updates so stay tuned oops wrong smiley ...

You've just saved me from spending more cash on an attenuator mate. Keep the updates coming and I may save enough to buy a V5.

Had the house to myself for half an hour today and turned up the volume. Ears hurt!
Any who, there is a buzz inside amp when I play E and A strings only. That frequency is making something buzz in the amp but not on low volume. Any tips please? How can I remedie this? Could it be the tubes?

Another false alarm, nothing to worry about. I had placed the amp on top of my diy pedal case to raise it from the ground. This was causing the buzz. Once I placed the amp on solid floor no buzz at all even on high volume.
Was playing with my P90's today and they sound awesome on high volumes.

Update;
I connected my pedals in chain and all sounds lovely. No hum no buzz , not even on my non-shielded start. Love this amp.
I even solved the issue with my Les Paul neck pup sounding a bit boomy by running it through the Nux Drive Core's Boost + Tone knob to add more high end.
Happy bunny I am!

Is this a tube thing? My Stats are the same. Singles are pretty much noise free. Glad you're liking it papache.

For some reason both of my delay pedals sound a bit thin and even lack volume. This amp has no fx loop sadly. This is not the case with my solid state amp.
Not sure why that is. Pedals are Mooer Reecho Twin and Nux Time Core.
