Here's a wee clip to demo the Roswell pickups. Middle position, recorded direct with a Roland GT-001. I will NOT be swapping out these pickups, they sound great!

Due to musical differences I've decided I can't work with myself any more.

Keep a close eye on the "cracking" tarn , mine had the same faults as yours, which seem pretty standard, but I finally returned it for the neck. It had a small crack appear at the bottom of the 5th fret slot which spread out and started to delaminate the fretboard. This issue has bothered me since you posted it john. I love this guitar but didn't like the sound of this at all. Then I just wondered, could it have been the truss rod pushing the fretboard off?

With 3 year warranty I would not worry about that issue even if you mod the body with Bigsby you are not damaging the fretboard and warranty should still be viable. I have told Thomann that I have drilled the low E tuners hole from 8mm to 10mm and they have not made issues about warranty which concerned the wrongly spaced frets. As long you dont do something drastic to the fretboard/neck/truss rod its all good. You can even discuss this with Thomann via email before you order this guitar to make sure your Bigsby upgrade will not affect the warranty of other parts like delaminating fretboard.

The harness can wait Im sure. But that headstock sure fits well my otherwise sore shoulders. I hate tuning the standard strat neck, it always starts a cramp in my shoulder so I have to put my hand down for a bit and then continue tuning. I actually prefer this reversed headstock because my arm is naturally under it (just like on those 3 Les Paul tuners on the underside). I will wait to get my money back from Thomann first and see what Im to do (would love to finish that dream start though so I can be in piece and later buy this one) I was VERY VERY close to buying the Sunburst TE-90FLT (this white was out of stock) and it was my wife who voted for the ST-90SA (why did I listen to her she knows nothing of guitars). ... hm, maybe it was ment to get this one ... I sure had a great guitar in the other TE-90 with P90's ... oh no! I hate when I ponder this way
