I dunno mate ... you need few more Yellow boxes to feel more balanced to the eye You know that yellow is my favourite colour? Too bad there are not that many yellow pedals around that I'd like to own.

Changes to the layout and added a Boss Tera Echo, one pedel removed (Rat clone). The guitar amp pedal is now on top of the amp. All pedals are now connected with EBS-gold patch cables (had bad contact issues a few times with the standard EBS patch cables). Also brought more visual rest to the board, it's laying around in a corner of my living room so this is an important factor (for me). I hope I'm done with all this tinkering with my board but I seriously doubt it. What’s the Tera Echo like?

[noob mode]A delay combined with a reverb and something else.[/noob mode] Really hard to describe but it is all of the above, somehow combined. The thing that comes closest is probably EQD Afterneath but with quiet a different flavour and control possibility's, the Afterneath is more radical.

'tiny board' modI've been using the TC Spectracomp for several weeks now but ditched it again, I don't like the 'one knob controls everything' approach. With the Toneprint editor you can change basically everything you can think of but I can't get it to work the way I want it to (subtle compression for looper use). There are way too many parameters you can change, the volume is also too high with the default Toneprint as by the way are most other Spectracomp Toneprints! (much louder in the on position than the off, I like my pedals to be equal in volume, on or off.) Reinstated my old JoYo Dyna Compressor, with only three knobs this one gives me more and simpler control for what I need than the seemingly simple/'versatile under the hood' adjustable Spectracomp.

After talking with @chedapapa about chorus's I did some checking on the CE-2 and stumbled on the CE-2W. Wow CE-1 and CE-2 combined! Given I'm somehow always looking for the CE-2 sound (I once had) in a chorus I decided to order one right away. It sounds almost exactly as I remember it, the CE-1 inside is a big added bonus! The TC Fluorescence (shimmer reverb) was removed to make way for the CE-2W, I prefer the EHX Canyon shimmer anyway, also moved some pedals around to put the new chorus where I want it in the chain. Reinstated the RAT clone again (it has something the other dirt pedals don't have), removed the Mooer wah for this, this wah is lots of fun to toy around with but has no real practical use.

That Line 6 M5 gives me creeps I was so happy when I returned mine to Gear4Music and got my money back. Such a digital sounding unit. But Im glad to see othrs enjoying it. Budda Guedes from You tube land has all 3 of them for different boards and use them for live performance. It just didnt do anything good for me. Need me pedlas to be as straight forward as possible I guess. And my OD's MUST have at least 4 knobs and at least one toggle switch That part of my signal must be tweakable.

The blues driver does the job for me, at those settings I can get a clean tone through to crunch just with picking dynamics. The M5 fulfills my desire to have this or that effect at the end without owning a bazillion pedals, they aren’t super realistic but suit my needs. The two fuzzes are a bit redundant but I’m loath to part with either.

I've been comparing my American Sound's ability to pull off valviness in the same way as my lovely Behringer MIC500 is doing and I've noticed a huge difference depending on how it's powered. On the power brick it's pretty good, on a Duracell battery it's better and on a rechargeable one it's awful with terrible noise too.

In the stuff that came with the soul bender it said that Carbon Zinc batteries give the best sound.
