Don't know what the distance selling laws are in Denmark, Che, but here in the UK they are very much on the side of the consumer:
"Online, mail and telephone order customers have the right to cancel their order for a limited time even if the goods aren’t faulty. Sales of this kind are known as ‘distance selling’.
You must offer a refund to customers if they’ve told you within 14 days of receiving their goods that they want to cancel. They have another 14 days to return the goods once they’ve told you.
You must refund the customer within 14 days of receiving the goods back. They don’t have to provide a reason."
Might be worth checking the regulations where you are.
BUT there are a few things to bear in mind. 1. Your own past experience in buying stuff untested and how successful that has been. 2. How great your home recordings already are. 3. That an audience in a bar can barely tell if you are playing through a tin can and a box of lemons and rarely care unless you are covering a song that they've heard 100 times on the radio already. 4. Stuff can get trashed when gigging. Not necessarily by you but possibly by that belligerent guy down the front who has been spilling his beer in your effects pedals direction all night and fancies that he might also be James Hetfield.

Maybe for gigging something used like this Stage 100 DSP: or its later replacement, the Stage 112SE, might be a good bet. Solid state, light and loud. All ideal things on the road. I've played 112 SE on stage and it did a fine job. Both have an FX loop, reverb and useful stage connections and the SE took pedals well.

Used Fender Stage will go for same amount of money as the Katana here where I live, but for some reason Bugera V55 Vintage (not the Infinium) are found cheap on second hand market!

Crazy prices there Che. Just found one here for £75 including the original manual and footswitch. I'm almost tempted except I don't have room.
Mind you, it makes the Fender Champ 25SE hybrid tube that I bought a couple of summers ago for £50 seem even more of a bargain. I never use anything else at the moment...unless I'm rehearsing at my office when my little Tokai amp does a sterling job.

The speakers and cabinets and overall engineering of those Fender SS amps from the 90s was second to none. I got my Stage 112se for 100eur with footseitch and another little practice amp (which I love). That said I did have to fix a pot and the reverb tank but it wasn't difficult. What amuses me is that the Fender 'Made in USA' badge on the grill often sells on ebay for €50 alone!

Defjef I see you mention often the audience not hearing the difference etc ... I care little about what audience would hear, rather I need the right tone to be able to feel the right groove. So it's for my minds sake to find what sounds smooth (can't play harsh amps). I would be tempted to buy used Bugera V55 but I'm not sure how noisy it is when in full volume.

There is a 2nd hand Bugera V55 for 190 Euros but its not the Infinium version. There is also a 4x12" Bugera cabinet for 120 Eur which I could plug into my Bugera V5 to give it more volume V5's speaker out is rated 4 Ohms so if those 4 x 12" are 16 Ohms I should be safe to rock with it. It certainly will be enough for rehearsals.

At that price it doesn't seem like a bad deal at all. Especially as that guy who used to do Bugera mods, was it Rat amps or something, didn't like the infinium idea anyway and used to mod it out!

Ah yes I remember that! Indeed he seems to dislike the Infinium series. Well let's see if the amp is still available next weekend! Will update you accordingly.

€160 is a good deal even if you budget another €60 or so for a re-tube of the power tubes.

€160 is a good deal even if you budget another €60 or so for a re-tube of the power tubes. The guy used it as a clean amp for his acoustic guitar and the onboard Reverb. He said that I can change the tubes if I so decide but he thinks they can go a long way still. He seems like an ok dude who said to bring my gear and test it and if I think it's not to my taste then no big deal. Seems relaxed about it and not like a pushy car dealer trying to be rid of a broken car asap. Will see next weekend how it goes.

Sounds like the guy I bought my Fender from. Not enough of them in the world...perhaps he wants to join a band?!
