I have been researching for a looooong time now and I think I have found the perfect speaker for my Bugera V55 ! The Eminence CV75 ! I need a speaker that tightens up the tone a bit especially in the low end as the Bugera can get farty when overdriven and I really dont like that! It can lack a bit on the bass side but that can only sound good in the Mix or band situation.
Here is a demo of this speaker against Creamback and some other Hemp speaker;
and here another one!

Mark Lettieri is using Eminence CV 75 so it certainly might be a good choice for me! I love his playing style and he is known for using single coil pickups! Might give it a try and if not happy return it back to Thomann! I have 14 days to try it before I can return it free of charge!

Defjef, yes thats my thinking now exactly! I remember jamming with that lad I was suppose to start a band a while ago and I ended up playing only on the in Series Bridge-Neck and with Treble cranked to spike things up to get through the bass (in loop), his keyboard and some singing and drum beat. I hate not being able to go to the neck or neck-bridge in parallel in such situations!
This CV75 from eminence sure is the way to go for me! Here is another demo this time from Eminence featuring Les Paul, telecaster and stratocaster guitars! It has some fine lead tone and attiitude if one wants it or some nice clean to slight dirty tones too. This speaker seems to be really good for muddy pickups like neck humbucker can be or my Tele neck too.

Now that I have nailed the Wicked flubby fuzz tone on the original Bugera speaker (based on Jensen) I will put this on hold and maybe get a cab with the CV75.
Instead I will put all my money to get a good HB acoustic guitar instead.

Actually I do have some birch plywood in my worshop. Do I need a special input jack or will the guitar one do the trick?

Due to musical differences I've decided I can't work with myself any more.

Ok, Im on the journey again! I need to get more out of this rather thin sounding Bugera V55 Speaker! It just lacks low end and even the mid raange is nasal and nothing to die for. The highs are plenty especially when you go into the Bright channel!
Ok, what I want to know is if I need an American or British voiced speaker. What is Bugera V55 (22) based on? Is it more on the Vox or Fender side of things. After playing the Fender Deluxe Reverb I dare to think its more American based but the EQ is rather flat so I dont know. The Mid knob does get nasal hence me keeping it low. Bass konb get boomy but there is plenty of it if the speaker can take it that is.
Also the drive channel is chunky so a speaker with tight low end is needed if Im to maybe use that channel (Im happy with driving Clean ch. with pedals though).
So what am I looking at: Eminence (American) Celestion (British)

You are talking about a moddeling amp. Eminence developed a special speaker for moddeling amps, for a reason it seems. Any way check the second vid in this thread by that German dude and here is another by him and you tell me that you can hear a difference
