Pshhh...I wish. Nope. Based on what I've been reading from others here I probably still have almost another 2 weeks left.

I'm at the six week mark but I read on another forum that someone placed an order for in stock items and he's has all the same issue we have. No updated tracking, no communication from DHL or Thomann. The order was placed March 29th!
I'm waiting another two weeks and then I'll look into a refund via paypal if that's even possible.

I ordered a bass guitar on 5/22 and still waiting. Status for DHL stays in transit and the USPS status is awaiting shipment from DHL.
This is my first Harley Benton purchase.
I did get a response from Thomann stating that deliveries will take 3 weeks longer due to the COVID-19 outbreak and DHL being short of personnel.
Thanks David

March 29 would put you at almost 10 weeks.

Hey All I ordered a TE 52 that shipped from Germany on 13 May 2020. The tracking info on the Thomann site says "Ipz Frankfurt · 2020/xx/xx · 12:34 AM Border crossing: The goods are being processed for export into the destination country." It has been this way for almost month now. It's stuck in US Customs, and I'm sure (if you're shipping to the US and you're still waiting), that is your case as well. But if you want peace of mind, and if you're at the 21 day mark, contact Thomann (they are really responsive). They will open an investigation. The message I received from them is that DHL has shipped it to the US, and it's stuck in a huge container somewhere in the US, and the that US Post does not operate on a "first come first served" basis. There is also no tracking information whatsover. Apparently, these items magically "appear" at your doorstep with little to no warning. This is all on the US post, and its inefficiencies. Here's the message: Please note, your parcel has been on the plane the 13th of May and has left Germany. The plane landed in a regular way but as long parcels haven’t been scanned by the local postal services they cannot be located – so the post cannot confirm that they have been “received” in the country of destination. All our parcels are arriving in huge DHL container which are held at the airport by customs. As long the customs clearance procedure is not finished, you cannot receive any parcel, and in the most of the times the postal services neither have an update about the parcel. Unfortunately, we experience, that in many counties there is no “first in first out“ logistical system at the airport so this can cause delays of some parcels while other ones are arriving very quickly. As you will surely understand, we have no influence at all on this procedures. However, as the parcels are insured, we have legally right to start an official investigation – which we already did. According to the agreement between postal services and insurance, the postal services are allowed by law to investigate for 60 days for the parcel – please note this is the maximal time! If the parcel is confirmed as lost (worst case scenario) the insurance pays. In 95% of the cases the parcel is delivered in the meantime and particularly in the United States the reason for the delay is almost always the customs clearance procedure. Once again I’m very sorry for the inconvenience caused by your customs. Thank you for your understanding. Kind Regards Kerstin Frosch The best thing to do is wait. If you don't get your item in 60(!) days, contact Thomann. It's a miserably long time to wait. I know, because I am still waiting for the TE-52 to appear on my porch. Oh, one more thing! If you want an approximate delivery date for your HB, go to parcelsapp.com/en/tracking/ and enter your tracking information. Not sure how reliable it is, but it does give you a general idea of when it will be delivered

And Thomann has Now delayed that particular guitar twice for me. So it holds up my entire order of 3 guitars. So I have no idea when they will even have the consideration to ship my products. or will they indefinitely be giving out the guitar i bought since they switch from being in stock to out of stock between each of them...

The overriding message here is that the delays are almost entirely down to US customs. It would be nice, however, if Thomann made people more aware of these potential delays when ordering. I agree 100% about the customs. Thomann did send me an email when I ordered the guitar back in April telling me I won't get it until at least June, so at least they were up front about it. The TE-52 I ordered as out of stock at the time of order (April), so I had to wait an additional month for that as well.

Heh. I ordered my TE-52 in April as well. It shipped out a month after it was (eventually) in stock. Those are very, very popular guitars. My beef is actually with US Customs and not providing some kind of tracking or estimated delivery time.

When (if) my order comes, I'll post it. I fear it will be damaged at this point. I have a guitar stand that has been empty now for two months waiting this TE-52

Update (but not a helpful one): Thomann indicated that all shipments to the US have stopped for the last few weeks, so all of our packages are still in either Germany or the US. The Thomann rep told me management is looking for a solution to this problem and that we should have answers by the end of the week.
