I know that pedal MartinB . I've had it in my Aliexpress basket for some time in case I back out of my commitment to spend a decent bit of dosh this time round. I am very allergic to plasticky digital sounds so worry about getting my choice right, and have rejected so many bits of kit that set my teeth on edge. They're usually made by Digitech. Their Whammy pedal actually gave me a kind of nauseous headache and I can still remember the chuckle of delight I felt as I boxed it up for return!

Cheers for the info on the Nux equipment @manxcat. 👍 I've seen a couple of their pedals that I fancied, I was unsure whether to take a punt or not? If I revisit them as an option in the future I'll be confident it's not a gamble.

I picked mine up used on Reverb for £33 all in, seemed a fair price to me at the time. Just having a look on Reverb now and they seem to have gone up in price. Ebay doesn't seem much better either!

Is it the Pro version with the double switches MartinB? I was interested in it but was disappointed that, although it has left and right jacks out the back, the effects don't seem to be stereo.

No it was the bog standard one which seems to be discontinued. I'm not really sure if it's worth more than £33, the shimmer is interesting and could be inspiring but seems to be it's only unique point. You can get a TC Electronic for around £30.
If you have a decent amp 'verb I'm not even sure if it's worth it.

Yeah it's the more creative reverbs I was looking for. I saw one that seemed to generate a feedback reverb that held until you changed chord. Maybe that was on a Boss one? I tend to not enjoy Boss pedals though. My ME70 has some nauseating digital effects on. I avoid them. Pitch shift is laughable!

I could be wrong but I think that's an EHX one.

Also has ducking. Might be worth a try...oh I see it's mono. Maybe I need to look at this:

I weakened and ordered a Joyo AC Tone! Dangle says it gives a good representation of the Vox sound. Want to learn some Rory Gallagher stuff but won't be paying a fortune for a Range master clone to go with the AC Tone! 🤭

Did Che try that pedal out? I seem to remember him getting excited about it.

Do you mean the Mooer Pro MartinB? Possibly. I know he got fed up with his NUX pedals. He did try a Fender shimmer verb and liked that. He also got fed up with a stereo pedal that actually wasn't. That might have been the Mooer.

Just fancied seeing what differences a Vox sound option can give @defjef? I have pretty good Marshall, Fender even Orange voicings may as well try the AC Tone. You are probably right MartinB, I think I remember him singing it's praises at one point. 🤔
