just to be sure, it rattles with fretted notes and open notes?
did you look if the screw are all tight under the saddles, there should be 3 or 4 screws there that hold then trem block on.
if one was loose or (partialy)broken off it could have this effect!
also have a close look at the springs from the trem, try to change them out for others!

Only when fretted is there a rattle/buzz all over the neck on E A and D and little bit on G also. I have raised the saddles totally and still its there. The frets are leveled ok so I think its the neck-body joint that needs to be shimmed and that is just too much work for the not-so-skilled-me

Just thought to share how this ST-62 sounds before I return it (I avoided playing the E A and D hard to avoid the buzz) This was only on the Middle Pickup pots full on in the Tweed Fender setting on me Digitech RP70 https%3A//soundcloud.com/papa-dusko/hbc-idea-for-a-tune-no1

Help me here;
When I level 3 frets at a time they all are fine (the 5th one needs a bit filing but not much). So this means that the fret work is very much OK. If there is rattle/buzz when fretted on all frets on E A D and a bit on G doesn't this mean the neck-body joint is not aligned as it should be. and this is even with high action. This guitar has to go back, if Im willing to play some buzz-less clean tones.

I only ask, because I used to use an old credit card to check, but when I took a guitar that I thought was level, to a tech, he found many that needed levelling. Since using the above, only one in seven of the guitars I have bought, has been OK in the fret department.

have a look if this in not the case! if the neck to body joint off like in first picture, its a possibility! have you check't the fret level at different places ie not only length wise but also from side to side, under each string? are the fret seated properly, not loose? just to double check, is there nothing loose in or under the scratch plate? even after you find it you can still send it back, but in the mean time we would have learned something. having to do a minor set up is ok, but this seems to be a bit major to be honest i can't make much buzz out, it seems to be at the very beginning of the attack?

@tunderbird I am using the credit card method but I used it on other guitars with very good results and have no buzz issues after leveling by using credit card. Maybe Danish credit cards are 100% streight tarn that is a nice illustration! Nothing is loose. I know this because when I play open strings nothing rattles so it is something to do with the neck-body joint which is misaligned. It will cost me 80 Euros to pay the Luthier here to fix this but man I just dont want to give more money, not after getting very fine SC-550 and L-450Plus and even the cheap Deko JB-75 bass was well set up for only 42 euros. Im sure Thomann is focusing on good set up its just that some guitars must have been treated by a tired/drunk/high/sick/depressed person on a Friday or Monday

Just took off the neck and looked at the joint nothing strange there. Put the neck back on and this changed nothing. But thanks for the tip The bridge is not off center, I measured this with a long thread and it sits very much centered.
