I want a new and properly working bass. A pity you didn't get on with the feel and sound of that guitar, it was a great looker.

Got an confirmation e-mail that Thomann received the bass. And received the confirmation they shipped me a new one. They also sent me an e-mail stating there was nothing wrong with the original bass! Idiots! My ass! it was broken! So here is the reply I sent them on this BS. Lets wait and see if they want to blame me some more!

I had the same problem with the trussrod of my Fame MM500 This bass is from Musicstore. I send a mail with photo and have to send it back to Musicstore. After 2 weeks i get a mail that i’ll get a brand nee neck and i can choose between rooswood or maple fingerboard. It was made by hand. The Fame basses comes from the Mayones factory and all made by hand. After 3 months i got my bass back and was terific. A great service. The bass was nearly 3 years old and there is 3 years warenty on it. It is my main bass and very happy with it

Got the new bass this morning, inspected the truss right after unboxing , it's okay with this one. Will do further checking on the entire bass later on today.

And now with a good set of strings. The stock ones are not that good, not the same quality as the ones on the V7 and P7. Anther spot where Sire cut corners to get the low price, not that I mind I almost never like what manufacturers put on as stock anyway.

I'll see what I can do.... but don't keep your hopes up to high. I'm not really set up to do a recording that's up to my standards and also got almost no experience to do my own recordings.

Just go for it I just started a band called The June Colonies and my bassist simply plugs his Music Man 5 stringer directly into the audio interface then adds an Ampeg sim later in the DAW and this is the result (note this is just the first mix and this song is far from finished, just rough ideas); https%3A//soundcloud.com/papa-dusko/samsara-idea-for-a-song

Are those strings blue or am I imagening? You're seeing things @chedapapa! But yes they are blue, bought some blue and red Aurora 5 string sets about a year ago. They have been on my blue Warwick Corvette since then and are still holding up very good. Blue strings look cool on a blue bass. In the foreseeable future I will probably put one of the red sets on the "Black Beast II". But first the current nickel roundwounds need to die on this bass. The "Black Beast II" used to have DR Black Beauties but these sounded already dead after a couple of weeks of use. They looked fantastic but very quickly sounded like crap.
