New to the herd and its Warwick club. It came by at Thomann at a price I could not resist.

Yes Warwick RockBass Streamer 5 OB and not B-stock. Thomann was probably dumping old inventory when I ordered it, only paid € 439. I like it a lot, new pickup positions for me, nothing like it in the herd. All my other basses that have two humbuckers are active, this one is passive, maybe a bit more limited but it is different enough from the active ones to keep it that way.

Dirt cheap at Thomann, 799 instead of 1499! Couldn't resist this one.

The Alien Thinline and the Warwick Alien come with this wooden thumb rest, mine is the Rockbass Alien Standard version and these come without a thumb rest. The Rockbass Alien Deluxe also has no thumb rest. Source: Warwick. And now they all come with the wooden thumb rest... which is very comfortable on the above 6 string by the way.

That's an interesting shape. I like it. I suppose it was cheap because it doesn't look like some crusty old thing from the 50s… I don't think I ever saw such a strong narrowing of the neck.

I must say blablas, if it didn't say Gibson on it, I would never have guessed (well, except for the HS shape).
