Fair point. I think you do get a solid instrument with a bit of luck... which considering Che’s luck. Maybe he should get a readymade!

Cant stand Roseacer fretbaords! Maybe they hold frets better than the Blackwood pallet wood but still Roseacer also feels strange in my hands. It just looks dry no matter if oiled or not. I think Im best off by getting another TE-70BP or try out the TE-30 and see if it delivers. Not sure what Im to do ... Im eyeing the CUB 10 amp and still considering to mod this Dynamic I have. I have been inspecting the neck heel and the neck posket and noticed slight distance between the neck and body. I could not see it clearly but when I pushed a thin paper into between there was no resistence and the paper went in easily! So I pondered what might cause this? ... A ha! The front screws were the same lenght as the hind screws but the body thickness on that front part is much thinner and the screw was a bit too long for those holes in the neck heel! So I filed those screws a bit and sure thing, now the neck-body joint is tight! Thats why the factory placed the sand paper there, to compensate for those long screws

Hm, ... was just thinking ... what about a 24 fret Telecaster ! Is that even possible? Will I be able to adjust intonation if I place this Dynamic 24 fret neck onto a ... lets say black TE-20 body (I just love basswood bodies)

As this Dynamic neck has the truss rod wheel in the heel I would need to route out the space for it in the body but that machine I have so no isssues there!

Nah, ... not that easy ... I would need to rout the neck pocket in the body to move it closer to the neck pickup otherwise Im risking intonation moving too close to the bridgeand depending on saddle screws they might not even be long enough. Hm ... not sure if Im that skilled to rout the pocket! Damn it! I like this Dynamic neck.
Whats putting me off on this HSH is the amount of money needed to get 3 decent pickups. And still Im not sure I will bond well with that flamed look. If Im to figure out how to use this neck on a Tele body , then I could just sell that Dynamic flamed body with tremolo on the 2nd hand market (there are always folks over there waiting to snatch a good looking body or DIY projects).
Or I could keep this Dynamic guitar and ignore the middle pickup (keep it there as a dummy) and focus on getting two low gain humbuckers that have clarity (I think Pearly Gates from SD sound great with 250K pots as they are made to sound very bright). Hm ...
Or forget about getting another guitar and just focus on buying me self a new tube amp with either 6v6 or EL84 tubes (my Bugera V55 has 6L6 and is made for clean playing).
Decisions , decisions ...

Due to musical differences I've decided I can't work with myself any more.

I've just been offered a Bugera V22 for £160 by a friend of a friend over in Hereford. What's that; about a 100 mile round trip? Worth it or haggle guys? Or turn it down? salteedog ? MartinB ? @chedapapa ? Anyone!!!!!! That seems like a reasonable price so I wouldn't be too inclined to haggle (but then I'm not much of a haggler anyway). More important to confirm it is working properly and there are no problems with it. 100 mile round trip isn't too bad - especially if you can find somewhere else to visit or do along the way and you can spare the time.

Fantastic in a live situation and 2 volumes make it a perfect bedroom amp too.
