There is this Fender Vibrolux for about 1500 Euro on thomann that got 2 stars from a customer 2 STARS !!! Then there is a customer saying how his Bugera V22 holds well for giggs while his Fender was at the technician twice since he bought the Bugera. He didnt specify which Fender amp it was. I honestly have no doubt in Bugera (or should I say Behringer). I have 2 Behrniger inrefaces and both are fine quality. I have the Behringer BDI21 bass DI and drive box and is just fantastic sounding and quality wise. They took TC Electronic under their wing. More importantly TC agreed to go under their wing as TC really has no interest in going down with quality (proud Danes, its another story about national pride and Vikings and some Norse Gods and Frost Gints and ... )

I think you just go with your hunches, as normal. Folk tend to only come to forums to praise their new purchase because they spent a lot of money or found a bargain or to give it a kicking because it let them down. Very few bother to write, 'it's ok. nothing special'. And most, the vast majority, just get on with using it without hunting out a forum to discuss it at all. It's just a tool that'll do some things better than others and we'll all get the best out of if we can, even using the shortfalls as characteristics to inspire us. It's like our HiFis and our tellys. The pros can tweak the colour grading on a film on £50000 monitors and surround sound the soundtrack to within an inch of its life but, by the time it's popped up on my telly, it's coming out of the speakers it came with and the reds seem to move at a different speed to other colours. In the end I enjoy or loathe a film on it despite those shortcomings.

Excellent decisions. You may be in an elite group to review something like that.

The tone dial goes from 0 to 10, 10 is the highest number so must be the best. Same goes for gain.

Quite right MartinB. Why put 0 tone on a dial? Nobody wants 0 tone, surely?

My Joyo Bantamp must be mega**** it's got no numbers. 😪😪😪😪😪 Yes it's true ... but it's a nice nice amp ... I have and I like it more than my old peavey Classic 30. For me it sound similar to Fender (the factory says it has the sound of Blue Junior) ... Anyway I think that the cabinet it's one of the most important part of the final tone ... the Peavey Blue Marvel it's orrible now that i'm playng with a Celestion 8 15 of JOYO bantamp ... and today shall arrive my new Cabinet HB Celestion and the quilter ... I'm so excited.
